Annual Report 2017

The Cambodian economy grew by 6.9% in 2017, with
contributions from the garment sector (7%), construction
(18%), and tourism (5%). According to the National Bank of
Cambodia, the external factors supporting the growth of
Cambodia’s economy are increasing exports of garments and
footwear which are supported by the continuation of the
EU-US preferential system and also growing exports to Japan
and Canada.
