Senior IT Security Operations Officer

Job Location:

  • Head Office, Phnom Penh

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effective security monitoring and threat detection.
  • Accurate analysis and investigation of cybersecurity incidents.
  • Proper implementation and monitoring of security protection controls.
  • Timely incident reporting and escalation.
  • Maintenance of security logs, alerts, and documentation.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from security monitoring tools.
  • Conduct threat hunting and security analysis.
  • Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Implement security controls for systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Support password security and privileged access management.
  • Prepare security operation reports and incident documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining security policies and procedures.
  • Perform other tasks as required by management.

Key Selection Criteria and Qualification:​

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in SOC operations or IT security monitoring and 1 year of working experience in banking or financial service industries.
  • Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in incident response, threat monitoring, and security tools management
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management)
  • Ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments and 24/7 SOC operations.
  • Good at English speaking, writing and listening
  • Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, Khmer typing and English.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness frequently to travel to the wide branch network offices
