Senior Credit Product Development Officer

Job Location:

  • Head Office, Phnom Penh

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying market space for the credit product and initiate to introduce by working closely with Research & Development team
  • Doing SWOT analysis on credit product at branch
  • Reporting on market trend and gap between existing credit product and market needed
  • Designing products features based on the market demand
  • Using the professional Research & Development approach to ensure the product introduced is well preferred
  • Developing the product development proposal
  • Writing policies, manuals, procedures and guidelines of credit products
  • Enforcing the implementation of relevant departments to ensure the on-time-launching of the product and smooth implementation including the marketing, training, and also sales relationship team.
  • Conducting M&E on the launched product for the product improvement and modification to meet the client’s current needs
  • Planning, preparing and delivering training course to relevant staffs on credit products and procedures
  • Doing refresher training regularly
  • Reporting on PROS and CON, and proposing the changes.
  • Perform other tasks by manager.

Key Selection Criteria and Qualification:​

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience 3 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial services sector
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in credit product development, lending operations, or credit risk management.
  • Good understanding of Credit product lifecycle, including pricing, risk, and performance management, Credit underwriting, scoring models, and portfolio segmentation, Regulatory and compliance standards related to lending (e.g., KYC, AML, consumer credit protection)
  • Good at English speaking, writing, and listening
  • Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Khmer typing and English.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion, responsibility, accountability, and commitment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Good personal characteristics, including soft, friendly, and good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team spirit.
