Manager of Institutional & Corporate Partnership Development Unit

Job Location:

  • Head Office, Phnom Penh

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market scans to identify potential institutional partners (corporates, government agencies, NGOs, insurance companies, fintechs)
  • Analyze partner’s business volume, cash flow patterns, and potential CASA as well as deposit contribution
  • Coordinate business requirements with relevant product, digital banking and IT teams and facilitate technical assessment and implementation
  • Track market trends in corporate payment/digital ecosystem development to keep offerings competitive
  • Draft comprehensive business cases including partnership rationale, projected CASA growth, fee income projections, and cost-benefit analysis
  • Identifying key business and partnership risks and coordinate with relevant Risk, Compliance, Legal and operational functions for formal assessment
  • Prepare presentation materials, financial analysis and recommendations and support VP & Manager of Corporate Banking Department in presenting strategic partnership proposals to relevant management committees
  • Liaise with Compliance to ensure partnership structure meets regulatory requirements (AML/CFT, data privacy, NBC regulations)
  • Negotiate commercial terms (fee-sharing, service-level agreements, liability clauses) with partner counterparts
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Key Selection Criteria and Qualification:​

  • Master/Bachelor in Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in corporate banking, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role in banking/financial services, with significant exposure to corporate banking, partnership/business development, or relationship management
  • Experience in proposal writing, financial analysis, and partner negotiation
  • Solid understanding of banking regulations, compliance, and payment systems
  • Familiarity with payment systems, MOU/legal documentation processes, and compliance basics
  • Good at English speaking, writing and listening
  • Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, Khmer typing and English
  • High level of professionalism and discretion, responsibility, accountability, and commitment
  • Good personal characteristics, including soft, friendly, and good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team spirit
  • High personal integrity, morality, and able to work under pressure
  • Willingness to frequently travel.
