KB PRASAC Bank has launched its new Solar Loan, a financing solution designed to help households, companies, institutions, factories, enterprises, and businesses invest in solar energy systems, reduce electricity costs and contribute to a more sustainable future.

KB PRASAC Bank’s Solar Loan is suitable for customers seeking to install solar energy systems for residential or business purposes, as well as businesses looking to expand their wholesale or retail operations for solar equipment and solar installation services. Loan amounts are tailored to each customer’s business scale, actual energy requirements, and repayment capacity, enabling customers to access financing that best meets their needs. Customers can borrow in either Khmer Riel or US Dollars, with a loan tenor of up to 10 years and flexible repayment options.
The management of KB PRASAC Bank stated: “Through Solar Loan, we are making it easier for households and businesses to invest in clean energy, reduce electricity costs, enhance business competitiveness and operational efficiency, and minimize environmental impacts. This initiative represents another significant step in reinforcing our ESG commitment and supporting Cambodia’s transition toward a greener and more sustainable economy.”
Through investment in solar energy, customers can lower electricity expenses, improve energy efficiency, strengthen business competitiveness, and reduce reliance on conventional energy sources, while contributing to lower carbon emissions and environmental protection.
The Solar Loan also reflects KB PRASAC’s commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) objectives and responsible banking. The product was established to promote environmental protection, support climate change mitigation efforts, encourage responsible investment, and contribute to the wider consumption of renewable energy in Cambodia.
