PHNOM PENH — KB PRASAC Bank today announced the official rollout of the inbound contactless Tap-to-Pay capabilities through Apple Pay and Google Pay for all eligible Visa cardholders from abroad.
The new feature enables the eligible Visa cardholders to digitize their debit and credit cards into their smartphones and wearable devices, allowing for instant and contactless payments at KB PRASAC Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals throughout Cambodia.
Actual card numbers are never stored on the physical device or shared with merchants. Instead, transactions are completed using device-specific account numbers and unique dynamic transaction security codes.
