Announcement on Automatic Opening of Khmer Riel (KHR) Accounts for Customers

  

KB PRASAC Bank Plc. is pleased to inform all customers that, to promote and support the use of Khmer Riel currency in accordance with the instructions on promoting the use of Riel for payment services within the Kingdom of Cambodia, issued by the National Bank of Cambodia, our Bank will implement as below:

  • The Bank will open Khmer Riel (KHR) account automatically for customers who have not yet had a KHR account for free of charge.
  • For merchants who already have a KHR account but have not yet linked it to their QR Code, this KHR account will be linked to QR code automatically and for free of charge.
  • Merchant with only US Dollar (USD) account will be provided with a new KHR account that will be linked to their QR code automatically and for free of charge
  • Customers or merchants who do not have KHR account or have not completed the KHR account opening will face a temporary suspension or disable access of their mobile banking app/payment services until the customers or merchants complete the opening of KHR account.

KB PRASAC Bank does not charge service fee for the opening, closing and annual fee for Khmer Riel accounts from customers, plus you can enjoy higher interest rates for KHR account.

Announcement about Discontinuation of FAST Payment Service and Real Time Fund Transfer of Retail Pay

  

Please be informed that, starting from 08th December 2025 onwards, KB PRASAC Bank will no longer a member of the FAST Payment Service and the Real Time Fund Transfer Service of Retail Pay, and as a result, all transactions of these services will be permanently discontinued.

We encourage all valued customers to use Bakong Payment Service, an easy and highly secure way to transfer funds.

KB PRASAC Bank Extends Service Day until Saturdays at Toul Kouk and Vimean Ekreach Branches

  

Phnom Penh — KB PRASAC Bank is pleased to inform valued customers and public about the extension of its service time to the morning of Saturday at 2 branches — Toul Kouk Branch and Vimean Ekreach Branch — to provide even greater convenience and accessibility.

KB PRASAC Bank To Upgrade Core Banking System and Mobile Banking App

  

Phnom Penh: KB PRASAC Bank is pleased to inform valued customers and the public about an upcoming upgrade to its core banking system and mobile banking app, aiming to enhance the overall banking experience.

With that said, our bank will suspend temporarily all types of banking services as schedule below:

  • Suspend all services via branch counters from 12:00 pm on 19 January to 7:00 am on 22 January 2024.
  • Suspend all transactions via KB PRASAC Mobile, ATM/CDM, KB PRASAC KHQR Payment and other channels from 6:00 pm on 19 January to 7:00 am on 22 January 2024.

This planned upgrade is a part of our commitment to staying at the forefront of technology, ensuring that our systems meet the evolving needs of our customers.
