Phnom Penh – Mr. RY Vanna, President & Chief Executive Officer of KB PRASAC Bank Plc., met with Mr. Matthew Schenk, Interim President, and Ms. Lin Kaknika, Vice President, Growth & Development of the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP), along with their respective management teams, to explore opportunities for strategic collaboration aimed at supporting education, human resource development, and Cambodia’s economic growth.

The discussion highlighted a shared vision to strengthen collaboration between the financial sector and academia, with the goal of developing future-ready talent and enhancing student employability.
As part of the proposed partnership, both institutions discussed initiatives to provide AUPP students with practical exposure to the banking industry through internship opportunities and hands-on learning experiences. These efforts aim to equip students with real-world skills and better prepare them for their professional careers.


In addition, KB PRASAC Bank and AUPP explored cooperation in implementing secure and convenient school fee payment solutions, leveraging the Bank’s digital platforms to improve efficiency and accessibility for students and parents.
The partnership also aims to promote financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation, while creating opportunities for career development through workshops and industry engagement programs.
Both parties emphasized that this collaboration will not only enhance student services and strengthen industry linkages, but also contribute to broader national goals by supporting education, workforce development, and sustainable economic growth in Cambodia.
Both institutions expressed optimism that the discussion will lead to a formal partnership in the near future through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
