KB PRASAC Bank Joins ASEAN Savings Day under the theme, “Save money wisely, Save money with love”

Kampot province: KB PRASAC Bank sponsored and promoted the importance of savings in the ASEAN Savings Day 2025 on 31October 2025, highly graced by H.E. Yim Leat, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, and H.E. This meaningful event was organized by the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), and the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA), with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of saving money to ensure the financial security of each individual as well as each family, which is a strong foundation for happiness and family growth. In addition, there was also a student competition on the topic of saving money.

Saving habits have been ingrained in Cambodian society for a long time, but effective saving involves setting aside a portion of your income for savings, then using the remaining money to manage your expenses. This will help us save money and avoid wasteful spending. The savings provides many benefits such as the use for emergency expenses, health expenses, goal achieving, or possibly as loan collateral. Mainly, this is contributing to the growth of the national economy by channeling cash from those who have available surplus cash to investors in need of capital through financial institutions.

In this regard, KB PRASAC Bank also strives to promote financial literacy and savings awareness among the public through various initiatives such as educational campaigns, community outreach programs, and digital content sharing on social media. Furthermore, we offer a high interest rate of up to 6% per annum on Term Deposit Accounts in Khmer Riel, providing customers with an opportunity to grow their savings and earn extra income.

During this event, KB PRASAC also offers a special promotion campaign called “Open Account, Get Money.” for new customers who do not yet have an account with the bank by spinning a lucky wheel at the event location. This encourages customers to save at licensed financial institutions.
