KB PRASAC Bank Officially Launches Tax Payment Service

Phnom Penh, 8 May 2025: KB PRASAC Bank Plc., one of Cambodia’s leading commercial banks, officially launched Tax Payment Service. This service allows individuals and entities to conveniently pay various types of taxes to the General Department of Taxation (GDT) through KB PRASAC Bank’s extensive branch network and KB PRASAC Mobile app, without any additional fees.

The official launch event took place at KB PRASAC Head Office, presided over by H.E. Dr. Ken Sambath, Deputy Director General of General Department of Taxation (GDT) and Mr. OUM Sam Oeun, President and CEO of KB PRASAC Bank, along with many other dignitary guests.

KB PRASAC Bank Commits Another 400 Million Riels to Cambodian Red Cross

KB PRASAC Bank Inaugurates 47th Library Building located in Kampong Chhnang province

Kampong Chhnang: KB PRASAC Bank held the inauguration ceremony of the 47th library building at Punley primary school and secondary school in Punley village, Ponley commune, Boribo district, Kampong Speu province, in order to promote education sector and instill reading culture, under the high presidency of Her Excellency Dr. Soeur Socheata, Undersecretary of State of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport on April 4, 2025, with the participation of management from National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), Kampong Chhang Provincial Department of Education, Youth and Sport, district officials, local authorities, teachers, students and local residents.

Mr. Ly Phallin, Deputy District Governor of Boribo, said that the library provides opportunities for students who are the descendants of the people in our Punley commune community to read and study. On behalf of the local authorities, he highly appreciates KB PRASAC Bank for its contribution to the Royal Government in human resource development. Therefore, teachers, students and the community shall work together to preserve this valuable resource, while students must continue to study hard for their future.

So far, KB PRASAC Bank Library Project has put in place 47 buildings covering 505 villages with a total of 11,0951 households with the population of 454,559 in 15 provinces, including Kampong Speu, Kampong Cham, Kandal, Prey Veng, Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Takeo, Preah Vihear, Battambang, Svay Rieng, Banteay Meanchey, Kep, Pursat, Tboung Khmum and Kampong Chhnang, with 172,554 students who directly benefit from this library project.

KB Kookmin Bank Hands Over A Library Building to Damnak Ampil Primary and Secondary School

Kandal Province – KB Kookmin Bank, a leading bank in South Korea and a shareholder of KB PRASAC Bank, organized a handover ceremony for a library building for Damnak Ampil Primary and Secondary School in Angsnoul District, Kandal Province on 21 March 2025, highly graced by His Excellency Ke Sovann, Undersecretary of State of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Top up for Paying the toll of Phnom Penh – Sihanoukville Expressway via KB PRASAC Mobile

Phnom Penh, 1 January 2025 – KB PRASAC Bank is pleased to launch a new, convenient payment method designed to enhance the travel experience on the Phnom Penh – Sihanoukville Expressway via KB PRASAC Mobile app. This innovative solution allows travelers to bypass both entrance and exit tolls by utilizing Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) lane systems easily and without queuing. This new payment method underscores KB PRASAC Bank’s commitment to enhancing customer convenience and streamlining financial transactions in Cambodia’s growing infrastructure and digital service landscapes.

Top up for Tolls Fee Payment with Ease: All users of KB PRASAC Mobile app can now top up for toll fee payment their own or relatives’ vehicle’s license plate balance directly through the app. This feature enables automatic deduction of toll fees according to the traveled distance and the type of vehicle at the exit point. Customers can top up up to USD 1,000 to their vehicle’s license plate balance, facilitating quicker and more efficient travel for every journey.

How to top up the balance via KB PRASAC Mobile app: First login to KB PRASAC Mobile app and follow few steps below:

  1. Tap Payments
  2. Tap Public Services and select PPSHV Expressway
  3. Select plate type and enter plate number
  4. Enter desired top-up amount
  5. Tap Pay and then tap Confirm

No KB PRASAC Mobile app yet? You can download KB PRASAC Mobile app for your smartphone and create a savings account by yourself and top up the vehicle’s license plate balance for Phnom Penh–Sihanoukville Expressway before your departure.

Understanding ANPR and ETC: ANPR is a priority gate for automatic payment via license plate number. Customers need to top up the amount in advance, without having to take a card at the entrance. The amount will be automatically deducted from the KB PRASAC savings account at the exit. ETC is another priority gate of the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway toll booth and has an automatic opening and closing barrier for vehicles to enter and exit. To enter and exit this gate, drivers must install an OBU device on the windshield of their vehicles. If your vehicle is not equipped with an OBU device, it will not be able to enter or exit this “ETC gate” even if you have already topped up money to your license plate.
