Phnom Penh: KB PRASAC Bank received a Letter of Appreciation from Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, commending the Bank for becoming the nation’s 8th largest taxpayer in 2025.
In the letter, Samdech Prime Minister stated, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the bank’s CEO for contributing to fulfilling the internal tax obligations to the state and being ranked 8th among the largest tax payers and achieved gold tax compliance in 2025.” The letter continued, “The fulfillment of tax obligations is an indispensable contribution from the private sector, which is an important partner of the state and a driving force for the development and growth of the Cambodian economy and society.”
In response, Mr. Ry Vanna, President and Chief Executive Officer of KB PRASAC Bank, said: “Receiving such Letter of Appreciation from the Prime Minister is a great honor for KB PRASAC Bank. This acknowledgment reflects the Bank’s unwavering commitment to transparent corporate tax governance and its rigorous compliance with Cambodia’s tax obligations and regulations. It is noteworthy that KB PRASAC Bank was awarded, in September last year, the prestigious “GOLD” Certificate of Tax Compliance by the General Department of Taxation (GDT) for a two-year period from 2026 to 2027. Such recognition underscores its excellence in compliance with the tax regime.
