Job Location:
- Head Office, Phnom Penh
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the annual portfolio plan.
- Timely report any deviations or trends that could impact expected results, and identify causes and gaps.
- Assist in preparing annual plan by CO/Branch/Regional.
- Provide quantitative support for marketing, lending, and product development as required.
- Perform statistical analyses of the portfolio database to identify trends and risks and recommend actions in a timely manner.
- Periodical monitoring of portfolio performance and quality through the use of standardized indicators such us PAR ≥ 30 days, portfolio growth, disbursements levels, number of active clients, loan average, etc., to promote industry comparison.
- Develop an internal system of portfolio performance by Credit officer, branch, and region.
- Provide frequent portfolio reports to management as required.
- Assisting to enhance the quality of credit applications and making recommendations about procedural/policy changes.
- Maintain compliance with external regulatory requirements and the internal control environment.
- Perform other tasks as required by management.
Key Selection Criteria and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or other quantitative fields.
- Minimum 1-2 years of Experience background of working in a regulated financial institution, preferably with portfolio management, credit risk, credit review, or financial reporting.
- Solid knowledge of risk, macroeconomics, trading, and portfolio theory.
- Good at English speaking, writing, and listening.
- Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Khmer typing, and English.
- High level of professionalism and discretion, responsibility, accountability, and commitment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Good personal characteristics, including soft, friendly, and good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team spirit.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High personal integrity, morality, and able to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel frequently to the wide branch network offices.
