Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise Financial MIS staff in collecting, validating and consolidating data for financial reporting.
- Manage data extraction from Oracle Database and other approved systems for branch, Head Office, consolidated and ad hoc reports.
- Review report outputs, extraction logic, mapping tables and templates to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency.
- Support financial statement schedules, footnotes, ratios and regulatory reporting data required by Finance management and regulators.
- Develop and maintain reporting templates using Crystal Report, Excel, Access, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BI Publisher), Power BI and Other approved platforms.
- Maintain SQL queries, Oracle reporting logic, VBA, Access tools, BI Publisher reports, Power BI dashboards, Python scripts and Finance automation tools.
- Support window-based or web-based applications required by Finance, in coordination with IT and relevant stakeholders.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Key Selection Criteria and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Accounting, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Financial MIS, reporting systems, data analytics, database reporting or related functions.
- At least 3 years of working experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Server, Oracle Database, Crystal Report, advanced Excel, Microsoft Access, Excel VBA, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BI Publisher), Power BI and related tools.
- Knowledge of Python, data analysis, automation, database structure, data extraction and data validation
- Ability to develop, maintain or support web-based or window-based applications used by Finance or reporting users.
- Good understanding of financial reporting, consolidated reports, financial statement support schedules, ratios and regulatory reporting data.
- Good English communication skills and computer literacy, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
